Taliban Commander Killed In Airstrike

A member of the Taliban who was very close in relation to Osama bin Laden was killed Tuesday in an airstrike. Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Osmani was killed in Pakistan. He was traveling in a vehicle near the city of Helmand. Two lower level terrorists were also killed. He was considered one of the top Taliban leaders of Omar. He had many roles in kidnappings, suicide attacks and roadside bombings. He primarily focused his efforts in Southern Afghanistan. This will be a major step in the war on terror. During June, a hidden Osmani in a black turban told a Pakistani news network that terrorist leaders Omar and Bin Laden are still alive and well.
