Zoo Trainer Mauled By Tiger

By Chad Stroh

A San Francisco Zoo keeper got the surprise of her life Friday. She was attacked by a Siberian Tiger that weighed about 350 pounds. The vicious attack may result in the loss of her arm. The zoo keeper was taken immediatly to have surgery on her injured arm. There were approximately 50 peopled that witnessed the violent attack. The tiger, Tatiana, reached through her bars and grabbed the unsuspecting Zoo keeper's arm. She was an experianced Zoo keeper and the attack was surprising. She has been working at the zoo since 1997. She was attempting to feed the tiger publicly through a small slot in which she was placing horse meat. It is the first serious animal attack at the San Francisco Zoo.
