Allen Iverson Comes To Denver

Chad Stroh

It's official. Allen Iverson is coming to the Denver Nuggets. By adding Iverson to the team, the Nuggets will have one of the best offenses in the league. The Nuggets have already been in the news latley for the fist fight that happened in New York. That fight ended in the suspension of several Nuggets including Carmelo Anthony. It will be interesting to see the chemistry between Iverson and the team. Before the recent suspension, the Nuggets were on a roll and Anthony was the lead scorer in the league. Iverson has high hopes of going to a championship team and the Nuggets might very well be that team. A large blizzard in Colorado is making it difficult for Iverson to come to Colorado, but as soon as he gets there, the Nuggets will begin discussing Iverson and where he will fit in. Along with Iverson, the Nuggets recieved Ivan McFarlin, a 6-8 forward. The Nuggets lost Andre Miller and Joe Smith from the team. The day that Iverson was traded to the Nuggets will be one of the most important days in the history of the Denver Nuggets organization. The only problem is that traded players must arrive at their new teams within 48 hours and the airlines are canceling flights due to a large snow storm in Colorado. Iverson is expected to make practice on Thursday and debut against the Sacramento Kings Friday.
